Ok, I have read probably the entire section(s) on issues with spark plugs. I still would like to know....

If going to a pullley set up why are most are using tr6's? (The stock fm1-22's are the same heat range).

Why if getting more boost than stock, are the platinums not recommended?

The reason I'm asking is because my buddies race car is getting a pulley.

Thanks badcobra, I understand now about the 100,000 mile thing being a convienance thing, not for performance. I think I'll throw the ngk tr6's in then. Looks like alot of people are having good performance from them and they are cheap.

I'd go with a standard Autolite copper 103's if you are going to run anything in that heat range. They are about a $1 cheaper and perform just as well or better than an NGK. I read about way too many idle and low speed misfires with them anyway.
