pool guys i need your help!

ok everyone. turns out i have a brown ring around the edge of my pool on the inside. probably from metal deposits or leaves from over the winter. anyone know what to add to get rid of it?

Is it a pool with a liner, or is it plaster?

A metal remover should do it.

I had the same issue on start-up this year.

plaster i think. i just bought the house last year so i'm a bit unsure

If it has a vinyl liner, I would hit it with a Mr Clean Magic Eraser. If it is a plaster pool, I would start like STAMPEDE3 suggested and get a chelating agent/metal remover in it according to the directions on the bottle.
