Poor gas mileage

i have a 99 cobra and average about 240 mpiles on a tank and that iwas driving it in town and 75 miles round trip for work and it has a intake, exhaust, intake spacer, and othe rbolt ons....i checked the actual miles per gallon weekly with it and between city and highyway it averages 23 mpg.

Ya i know I was messing with ya...kind of :beer: I get about 280 to a tank in mine with minor mods, nothing crazy. I say if your not getting close to 200-240 something is up oke:

That's what I'm thinking. I am falling about 40-50 miles short of the average. I'm not looking for prius mileage but damn, 160-180 over 15gal!? That's worse mpg than my silverado!

I think a lot of people arent doing their math correct, or are running gears and tires without correction...these things are fuel sucking pigs - decent on extended freeway drives however

Before the new motor I averaged around 17-18mpg with mixed driving and 24-25mpg on long trips. Now I'm around 12-13mpg around town and 20ish on the freeway at 80-85 with the A/C on.

mine isnt that bad....even with the mods it has as of now i still get about 20-22 mpg on the interstate at about 80 mph...factory 3.27 gears are still in it with factory wheels and 245/45/17 tires. So i know mine is right..i would look into datalogging and watch your o2's and other various sensors.

I pull about 260 per tank on 100% street driving, granted it's bone stock but has 100k miles. I still have yet to get her on the highway since I've bought it. Even if I drive harder through a tank of gas I still seem to get about 240.
