When you say inlet are you referring to the inlet on the Eaton, or the plenum? Since you said unported Eaton I'm assuming you are talking about the plenum. I can't imagime it making too much of a difference, honestly, but I could be wrong. If you're going to port and polish the TB & Plenum go ahead and take your time, use that as practice, and port your blower as well at some point!
