Polished 2.3 Whipple Gen2 140AX
For sale is a polished Whipple 140AX. I ran this blower on my '03 Cobra from 2007-2011. It's in good condition, and has approximately 16,000 miles of street use on it. I never tracked or raced the car. I ran it for about half that time with the 13 lb pulley and a bone-stock car making 490 RWHP. I also ran it with a CAI and 15 lb pulley with stock exhaust and made 530 RWHP. It has the stock-style throttle body port.
When I originally removed the blower from the car, one of the intercooler bolts broke off in the discharge plate. At that time, I had a lot going on and put the blower in a box in the garage figuring I would get to it later. Well, several years later it was still in the box. This summer I had a machine shop remove the broken bolt and the threads repaired. I have read quite a few threads about the intercooler bolts breaking off upon removal, so I will include grade 8.8 bolts for the intercooler to hopefully prevent you from having this problem.
Feel free to ask questions. Check my seller history and you will see I have sold a lot of parts from my '03 cobra on the forum and received all positive feedback.
I am looking for $2600 for the blower shipped. The last listing I saw for a polished blower in the forums was going for $3000, and so I think this is a great price and will sell quickly.
