Ford recently announced pricing for the Mustang lineup from V6 coupe all the way to the Laguna Seca. 2013 Ford Mustang pricing released | Mustangs Daily

2013 Mustang Pricing

2013 V6 base – $22,995
2013 V6 Premium – $26,995
2013 V6 Convertible base – $27,995
2013 V6 Convertible Premium – $31,995
2013 GT Coupe base – $31,095
2013 GT Coupe Premium – $35,095
2013 GT Convertible base – $36,095
2013 GT Convertible Premium – $40,095
2013 Boss 302 – $42,995
2013 Boss 302 Laguna Seca – $49,990

The difference between the Base V6 and Base GT is $8,100 dollars. The difference between the Base GT and Boss 302 is $11,900... It is very possible that the Base GT500 could be between $51,095 and $54,895 based on the gap between base models (Base V6>Base GT>Boss 302). SVT Performance Pack and Track Pack will add money for sure and we could see the convertible being about $5k over MSRP (compared to the base coupe MSRP and the base convertible).

You should also notice that the is a new "Track Pack" for the GT's on top of the Brembo pack. Most will see the rise in MSRP as bad but, most of use got at least $2000k back for incentives (I did for the 2011 5.0 in March 2010).

Not solid info but something to keep in mind...

What about the California Special ??

It wasn't listed, it was previously listed as option 402a which is a step above a the Premium option 401a GT. The MSRP for the 402A California Special Package was $1,950 but no word on the package yet. I would like to see a convertible roll bar option on ALL convertibles in the lineup...

Example:

Flat black would be standard, maybe a painted option for an insane price... Garbage Fiber for twice the insanity...

At those entry prices, the GT500 would be a huge bargain, the best way to roll over the competition is to undercut them.

This is a wall paper I threw together after seeing the 2013 prices. Once I can post attachments here, I will donate the 1920x1200 Wallpaper.

Here is my donation to the Ford Mustang Facebook site and yes that (and my profile pic) is really me... Profile pic is shopped. Photos of Ford Mustang | Facebook

Hope some of you caught the tire tread...

This is actually very troubling. The increase in price with the regular boss was about 3k and the increase with the leguna seca was about 2k. Did they even change that much on the boss? Because the gt500 was changed the most so I would imagine the price increase then being more than the boss so guys we may be getting a 5k bump in price I am thinking.

Just noticed the gt also got like a 2k bump. They barely changed these models. The v6 is the only model that didn't get a huge price increase.

1st, the Boss 302 increased by $2000 as did the LS, yes, the Boss changed the way it looked. Considering Ford charged for California Special orders at $2000... I wouldn't say it is a rip off. All Mustang's received an update of some sort. All Mustang's got new body work, the 5.0 is now 420hp, the Boss is still the Boss and the GT500 is the King of the Road...

FFS, you can't even do first grade math. The Boss got a 1890 bump across the board, not 3k for the base and 2k for LS. The GT premium and base both got a $590 bump, not 2k.

The gt just got a new hood and the tail lights the rest got. And it got an extra 10 hp. That hardly warrants a 2k increase. I would not imagine putting in the new tail lights and adding new hoods and such to increase the price that much. Thats how much that stuff cost retail. But given how these little things caused 2k price increases, shit I'm scared now for how much the shelby will go up. Clearly I was wrong and Ford does not mind passing their costs straight to the consumer. I mean for those buying a boss or a gt fine its not a big deal but if that Shelby goes up 5k or more, I will be pissed and I can imagine others to be as well. The vert fully optioned at that point will be up to 70k mrsp.

I was going off the ford website which when you look at just the line up they dont factor in the destination fees. I didn't open the article. For example the shelby on fords website for building it says 48,800 or something close to that but when you click on it to start building options it jumps to 49 something. I'm assuming they just add in the destination fee when that happens so I was going off those numbers.

Here is what it says on fords website

v6- 22,310
v6 premium- 26,310
gt- 29,710
gt premium- 33,710
boss- 40,310
boss ls- 48,100

When I said 2k was rounding up did a skim of it. Didn't go pull out a calculator to do the exact math to get the exact price increase was just putting out a rough estimate. So for example if the gt is 29,710 on fords website and it got raised to 31,095 and we do that first grade math you are talking about we get to 1385. So off of about 600. So then let me rephrase bumped up by about 1400 for the gt.

And since I know you are going to argue this in about 5 minutes.

Listen brother, Ford charged $2000 for the CS/GT and people bought it... You have to realize that upgrades cost money and prices need to be raised. This concept might pass the Camaro5 crowd by because the 5th Gen hasn't had any real update except for the V6 HP bump and the shit convertible that people are complaining about the vert top. The S197 went 5 years without major upgrades, when the 5th Gen and Team Camaro decides that they want to upgrade the car (and they will because sales of the 3 year old car is shit compared to the S197) prices will go up. Didn't the Shit Gen's MSRP go up by $500 between 2011 and 2012? NO updates what so ever, just an increase...

A base FE4 2012 Camaro SS will cost you almost as much as a Boss 302 and yet it is years behind the ZL1 on a road course...

Where is the value there?

Maybe you should have read the article and actually clicked on the PDF link, and then you wouldn't be in the unfortunate position of, yet again, stating things that are completely wrong.

2013 prices:
Base 6- 22,200
Premium 6- 26,200
Base GT- 30,300
Premium GT- 34,300
Boss- 42,200
Destination- 795

The HIDs and track apps alone are worth the price bumps on the GTs.

All I am saying is that means most likely the shelby will be between 53 to 56 max I am thinking. Unless ford decides to be super nice and undercut it and make it like 51 or 52 which I doubt they will do.
