I'd would hunt down the engineer or engineers responsible for that and beat them with a torque wrench. I bet that starter|solenoid has a short life with all that heat.
LMAO, I've said that exact thing several times because I work on several different cars, I flip them on the side for cash. Every manufacturer ESPECIALLY the German ones put the cars together so MOST people look at it and say 'F' that I'm bringing it to the shop!'

Wow, I did not know that.
But I have to say, in that case it will not matter, because it is a Lexus, so the car will run at least 300.000 miles before something goes wrong...
