Post your oil related engine failures

My theory is that it's fine to run synthetic oil for extended drain intervals.

My second engine I taxed a couple of rod bearings and shredded the crank journal...I change my oil every 2000 miles and I run Mobil 1 synthetic...DA snake boy!!!
