Anyone have any experience of disassembly pointers, issues afterwards.

If you are powdercoating you should go ahead and port @ the same time.
I took mine off and sent it to BPS to get powder coated and ported. No issues yet but only got about 100km's on it before I dropped it off to get suspension work done to it. Pretty simple to take off,biggest pain is the egr valve but take your time and be patient.
I have disassembled that was easy but powder coater has never done one so afraid of bearings heating and and the snout.
Never done it before...all I know is the pulley is removed and it's taking all apart,oil drained,seals removed etc. Maybe give BPS a shout and see if they can give you some pointers.

If your powder coater hasn't done it before I would send it out to someone who has and knows what they're doing.
