i went to ford and bought power steering fluid. they had 2, one mercon v atf and motorcraft power steering fluid - for mercon v power steering applications. i was going to get the mercon atf one but a mustang guy there convinced me to get the motorcraft psf one. i'm reading the back of it and it says do not use on applications requiring F fluid. is this the right fluid for a 2003 cobra? thanks

I'm holding a quart that I bought from the Ford Dealership for mine...
On the front of the bottle, its says:
FORD - Motorcraft
MERCON V
Automatic Transmission and Power Steering Fluid
I bought it just because it was running low in my car. No problems here.
And on the back it says nothing about what not to use it on.

yea, that's the one i was going to leave with originally. the clerk said that the only difference between the two is that there is something in the power steering fluid that makes it not bubble up or something. so i'm going to assume its aft fluid with something extra, gonna be red if open it. i just want to know if anybody has used the one that i bought without any issues. thx for ur reply btw
