I have herd that the 03/04 cobras suposedly have a better power streering setup that makes the car feel alot crisper. Has anyone upgraded to this unit. Also, just curiously, what's in the Cobra R, can u upgrade to that?

Every 99+ mustang has a revised power steering system. My girlfriends 99 GT steering feels better than mine so I'm sure the Cobra is even better. I would never spend the money to upgrade though, not worth it to me.
And I think the Cobra R had a different K-member (that lowered the motor in the chassis) so I'm not sure if it will bolt up or not. I'm sure it would be the best though.

99+ mod motors have a different serpintine setup dont they?
I don't think so but I'm not positive. I think the 99-01 Cobra's are the same but the 03/4 Cobra's are because of the blower.
All you need is the steering rack. The pump should be the same, just a revised rack.
