Well after this Friday, I think a tranny rebuild is close in my
future. Going into 3rd under any load crunches and grinds. I even tested it by pushing the clutch all the way down and putting it into 3rd, and without releasing the clutch I got grinding. Thinking of getting it open and see what's the issue here. I know a need to get a good 8000k rpm streetable clutch but I fear my 3rd gear teeth or syncros are shot.
In in the Houston,tx area so anyone know of good transmission shops near the Texas area. I fear a rebuild coming since under any load, 3rd will not go in. No matter how light or rough you are.
