I know that this has probably been asked, but does anyone know what all this R12 update really does for the predator??? Also, anyone with a 2.8 / exhaust / intake and a YDH1 computer code??? Thanks

Also, do you have to have a "tune" in the car to use the datalogging??? And is there any software to download the data log to the PC?

Will have to check mine later for the installed ECM code but has anyone confirmed the r12 updates are good for all the latest Ford flashes?

About to update to r12 but want to be sure first.

I searched Diablo's site but couldn't find anything there on this.

here is what the r12 update does for you (I highly recommend the upgrade!!):

r12-

*added support for 2004 Cobra

*added 91 octane tunes

*added dual timing adjustment points (2000-4000 RPM / 4000-7000 RPM)

*timing adjustment range increased (+10% / -40%)

*added dual fuel adjustment points (2000-4000 RPM / 4000-7000 RPM)

*fuel adjustment range increased (+40% / -15%)

R12 works for all the cobra codes excpet the stall fix and that will be out soon.

That is my setup... what do you want to know? I added a few percent fuel down low and took out a couple up top and my car seems to be running pretty well! Think I took a little timing out down low, too, if memory serves. Haven't been to a dyno, just did these changes based on some recommendations I saw. No pinging, and I may try adding a degree or two of timing up top as I just saw where the R12 is set at 20 degrees. Judging by my slight black smoke I am still a little rich up top, too. No pinging at any RPM. HTH.
