Does it matter what brand of fuel filter to go with? I picked one up at autozone, but now I'm hesitant to put it on. Doesn't even have a brand name on the box. Should I go with it or return it and get something else??
Thanks

I have a purolator. I think it was that, fram or a motorcraft. They were out of the fram and motorcraft so I got the purolator.

It is most likely fine, and will do the job. But when it comes to fuel filters I always go with motorcraft.

That Autozone brandless POS isn't worth using as a rock to throw at something. My son bought one for his Lincoln LS8 and installed it. When I saw what he had done, I made him go buy a Motorcraft and we switched it out. I cut the POS Autozone open...you can't believe what a hunk of junk it was. It will flow gas...oh boy will it flow gas...and anything else that's in the fuel.
