Yes it can be done pretty easily. Guy in my local club did it. You need the lights, bumper cover, valence and a few trim pieces. Expect $1500-2000 depending on where you get the parts and how much the paint runs ya. May want the gtcs or roush valence if you don't want to replace your axle backs with the quad pipe style.

1500-2000 seems cheap. The local dealer told me that the 13-14 lights are 900 a piece. I believe the quad exhaust is in the same neighborhood. I am wondering how your guy did it for 2k.

Go through 'Tousley Ford' and/or look through the 'Market' section for used parts.

Ahh, retail. Anyone who pays retail for Ford parts is throwing money out the window.

Through Tousley - based on their internet site:
http://parts.autonationfordwhitebea...teid=214771&vehicleid=1504558&diagram=JC10750

http://parts.autonationfordwhitebea...leid=1504558&diagram=JC10790&diagramCallOut=4

Rear Bumper Cover - $428
License Pocket - $164
License Plate Bezel - $43
Lower Valence - $164
Tail Light Assembly - Left - $613
Tail Light Assembly - Right - $613

Paint ~$300 (going price in my area)

Total = $2300

So assume another couple hundred in misc parts and say $2500.

Now, those tail lights routinely go on ebay for $600 per PAIR as new takeoffs, and that's how you get below $2K.

I did not include exhaust here because it is only required if you use the GT500 quad exhaust valence. If you go with the GT/CS or Roush valence, then you can use your existing exhaust.

Other options are junk yard rear bumpers, there are plenty of '13-14's that were in head ons with perfectly good rear ends. That would also bring the cost down, perhaps significantly.

It's on my to do list for my 2010 as well... I'm wiring up HID's up front for headlights first then I'll work on the rear. I do love me some HID/LED Lights.

$2000 is much cheaper than trading in my car and losing $10k lol.

Just came back from vaca in Maui. After seeing all the late model rears on the rentals I have to get me a set. There are TONS of these waiting to filter through the used car parts bin. V6s to GTs to 500's, they all have them...wait and find them on the cheap.

I just got back from Maui also! The only 2 cars on the island are Ford Mustangs and Toyota Tacomas.
