Hey guys,

I have been mustang shopping lately and have a potential deal worked out with my local dealer on a CPO 2013 with 6500 miles. The car is an automatic GT premium with leather recaros and brembos. Dealer is currently at 31k firm and will not budge. Does this seem fair?

On the surface it seems like an ok deal for a 6500-mile CPO. $40k sticker for $31k. But knowing what they sell them new for in Texas, and for just a bit more in Maryland...it's a tough sale. Friend of mine just bought a new 2014 Premium, Track Pack for $31k.

That price sounds ridiculous when you can get a new 14 for around the same price.

Are you free to drive somewhere? Go to Koons in either MD or VA. Get a better deal. Check their website.

I bought my 2012 last april (13'), auto, premium, upgraded 19" wheels and 2400 miles on it for $26,000. The price seems high unless cpo is something very expensive. It is not registering with me.

CPO stands for Certified Pre-Owned. I bought my CPO 2012 GT with 9,000 for 26k. So from my perspective, ya it's a bit high. Mine is the premium model as well. With the performance package!

I called koons since they had the exact same car listed. Asking price was about 35k after all rebates and they refused to come down at all. They also offered me 3800 less on my trade.

Does anyone know a better salesman there i can try and work with?
