My wife's mustang has the automatic transmission. 2 years old 31k miles. There is a black piece of plastic that surrounds the shifter and covers the hole. It moves with the shifter. Yesterday when she tried to put in park the plastic bunched up and pulled loose in the front. Is this something that you think would be covered in the warranty. I called the dealership and they didn't know what I was talking about. It will be about a week before we can take the car by there for them to look at it.
