I picked up a set of Weld Prostar wheels and had a little trouble fitting them. The rears are ok but the fronts won't sit flush because they're hitting the face of the caliper. I tried 2 pairs of spacers, the larger ones are 1/2" and even with those, the wheels still lightly contact the caliper as I rotate it. The 5 lug setup I have was installed several owners ago, so I'm not 100% as to the parts used, but it appears to be 94/95 spindles and brakes. The wheels are 15x3.5 with a 1.375 backspace.
Has anyone had this problem? I see two solutions. 1) Grind the caliper a little to fit the wheel on the 1/2" spacer. 2) Use a larger spacer. (Which worries me as the wheel is running out of stud to sit on)
