Problems running

I have a 95' gt just intake and full exhaust. Sometimes while I'm driving it feels like my car starts skipping.....I will hit the gas down and it will like big down and not go any where for like 3-5 seconds.....sometimes shorter. It also surges at at very little..... Does any one have any idea? I'm really stumped. Also the check engine light will come in and off during driving..... Help please

Look at ignition sources first. Plugs, cracked wires, coil, and maybe a spanked distributor(ive gone through 3). Fuel filter may also be a culprit. MAF may need cleaning as well. Theres a LOT that could cause that. Any more info would help out

Has new plugs,wires,cap,rotor...... So maybe coil or distribtor?

Could also be the throttle position sensor could be bad. Only way to check them is with a oscilloscope.
