Producing a film - The Architect of Downfall

It's a rainy day here in Montreal so I thought I'd share what has been keeping me busy lately when not crusin' around and enjoying the great summer weather in my Bullitt or working my full-time job in the aerospace industry.
I've recently started work on a 2nd film based on an award winning script called "The Architect of Downfall" that my buddy and I are producing. We recently completed a fundraising campaign to help us finance this film (It's not easy to obtain financing when you are Indie film makers) . We haven't completed all of filming or editing as we're still currently in Production. All of the technical stuff (color correction, etc) has not yet been completed. The finished product will have much better quality. For those wondering, we're filming using the Blackmagic camera which just yields awesome results. Are any of you out there Independent film makers, or professionals working in the movie industry (I don't mean filming or starring in adult films either lol) ? It would be cool to know if there are any SVT members in the industry.

I agree, there are many talented people here on SVT who work in many trades and professions. Look up RainDance, they have a lot of good info, tips , courses etc.. They really promote and support Indie film making

Thanks, the entire cast and crew all have day jobs so we've been keeping extremely busy weekends working on this film.We have all invested a great amount of effort, time, and various resources and equipment to significantly increase our production value. I will post more updates as we go along. We planned on releasing this as a short film but due to overwhelming positive response, we are releasing it as a feature film. WE really look forward to seeing the final product and submitting it to numerous film festivals. I greatly appreciate your feedback !

It's been a while since the last update. We've finished filming The Architect of Downfall approximately 2 weeks ago and we are currently in Post-Production. We've created a second trailer for those who have been asking to see more until we can complete the film. We are definitely going to submit this film to numerous film festivals around the world. For those interested in the technical date, the entire film was shot using the Blackmagic Cinema camera (2.5K) with Canon L lenses. Stay tuned, more to follow as we work towards completing this film based on an award winning script.
