Estiamtes like this can be wildly out of line with eventual reality. The GT500s were to be built in the 3-5K unit range over a 2 year run. Nearly 50,000 were built. Anyone remember the highly "limited" 2003/2004 Mach1s? 3000 was the strict "limit" on those. In the end there were nearly 17,000 built over the 2 year period. These early estimates are a joke and have value only to aggressive car salesman who benefit from the illusion of shortage.

Pretty sure they will make as many GT350s as they can sell. GT350Rs might actually be limited, though. I doubt the take rate will be all that high on those. Not many people are going to want to sacrifice the amenities the GT350R will be excluding. And hopefully, that will make it easier for me to get one!!!

Correct. Total Mach 1's were 16,783. Total GT 500's were approx. 42,000 plus 2014 numbers.

It would be a little surprising if they don't build all they can sell - which means a fair number sitting on dealer lots awhile. Maybe not at first, but most likely by the end of the second model year.

It gonna be up to the dealers if they let them sit or move them. Some dealers want that one big score from an ADM and some dealers want to make that profit from selling as manny as they can.
