Has anybody here tried to have there PSOM reprogrammed for different tire sizes etc? The book says the RABS signal goes through the PSOM and gets converted to a regular 8000 pulse per mile signal and then to the PCM. I was going to try to bypass the PSOM and use a regular tranz mounted VSS for input to the PCM when I do the Lightning drivetrain to Ranchero swap but reprogramming the PSOM may be a better option for lots of reasons. How big of a deal is this?

Thanks Offroad
It looks like this would be the way to go if I am going to be able to use the Lightnings PCM and harness for the swap.

just make sure you get it correct the first time, after 6 tries you cant reprogram it, and good luck finding another 120mph PSOM.

You can check to see if it has ever been reprogrammed by holding the reset and turning the key to on.
