When you buy a programmer that has been used before, what needs to be done for it to be used on another car? I've heard of it being "unmarried" or "unlocked", but what exactly does that mean and how do you go about doing so?

Thanks

You have to make sure that the stock tune for the car was loaded back into the car. If it is not then you will not be able to use the programmer on a different vehicle. If it is "locked" then you will have to return it to SCT or whoever and pay them to unlock it. The unlock runs about $200 i hear.

Good luck
