If you have an upcoming date before the Suffolk County Traffic Violations Bureau at the State Office Building in Hauppauge ask for an adjournment and you will be given a new date at the new Suffolk County Traffic Violations Bureau at the H. Lee Dennison building next door. Why?
In the old TVB run by the New York State you must either plead guilty or go forward with a trial. It is anticipated that at the new TVB, run by Suffolk County, there will be an ability to plea bargain for fewer points and/or lower fines.
