I heard a rattling noise from under the hood today so I pulled over and the pulley bolt had backed out and was being held in by the pulley cover. I had put in a no slip 2.93 pulley from amazon the other day and thought I'd cranked it down tight. Does anyone use locktite with this?

Put blue or red locktite on the threads of the bolt and reinstall it. It should not back out ever again. I used blue locktite on mine and it hasn't backed out yet.

Never seen the bolt do that. In fact the bolt is not even needed. The last batch of 03's don't even have the bolt just a plastic trim plug in it. Ford no doubt saved a coouple cents by doing this.
