Well my car is making a Loud noise that seems to be coming from the timing cover. I bought this motor wich was supposibly out of a 2004 mustang gt. However, the timing chain cover is the earlier 99-01(3 bolt tensioner). The block itself is a Romeo because it does have 11 bolt PI heads. My question is this, what determines what year pulleys it will use? I switched the timing cover to my original 2003 cover (single bolt tensioner), will I need to switch pulleys as well?
