pulling my motor (do i need to drain P/S and A/C?)

i have most of everthing disconnected from my motor disconnected except the ac and power steering. do i need to drain both these systems to pull my motor from the top??

its easier to evac the a/c system to remove the engine. as for the p/s you will lose fluid when you remove the lines.

you could unbolt the a/c compressor from the engine also but all depends on what you have access to do the job. p/s pump can be removed also but again its easier to just leave it on and drain the system.

I would drain the power steering and leave the ac alone,just unbolt it and leave it sit there. That's how I did it and it wasn't bad.

No reason to drain either. Just unbolt both they're not in the way after you take them off.
