5Liter, judging by his sig, its an 06 IX RS. His car seems to run inline with all the other bolton IX's. A set of cams and retune should put him at 117-118mph traps at 24-25psi on 93. A good set of Kelfords or Cosworth M2's should do the trick!

The runs between me and TDI were from a 40 roll per his request. He wanted a 20, but its cold out now and im on street tires so a 20 roll wont happen. The 40 roll I blow the tires off in first, so I need to settle for 2nd which is only 3000rpms. Way too low for my likings but what are you going to do!

His evo runs good!

Dude with 4:10's you should be at great spot in 2nd at 40. I know people who run those gears in ls1's. Unless you have some special camaro. Looks like your car isn't as fast as you always making it out to be since you got pulled by a car that traps 114 lol.

while I can't see the video's.. I know what an EVO with 350 to the ground runs like (buddy has an 03, and with e85 and some decent mods, but stock turbo made 350 at the wheels)

it's a good run with my 2.8" upper pulley, BBK CAI, maggie catback and tune 03 Cobra.. (who ever gets the hit will generally stay ahead)

Im on a 26" tall street tire. 2nd gear with the 4.10's, is 3000rpms for me bud. Not the best. Its 4400rpms for me in 1st which is prime powerband, but it doesnt hook up.

last time I was at the track on street tires, not hooking up until 3rd gear, I trapped 114.9x

my car built for the bottle. Not N/A. I have 9* of timing taken away from my N/A tune for nitrous. So, my car is a turd N/A and a monster on the bottle....

here is a little preview with the same car when im on a baby 100 shot...tires squeeling/spinning for 2 gears? I think so

yah man, I dont think people realize how little power it takes to make those things movie out.

Trap speeds are for ricers and neither et or trap count on the street we have all seen cars that trapped lower out run cars that trap higher.

with the big cam that I have (ms3 on 112lsa) My power doesnt even come on until 4800+rpms. My rev limiter is set at 7k and I usually shift around 6800rpms N/A and 6500 on the bottle.

to give you a Idea, My buddys bone stock 06 Viper ran 11.9 @ 121.

just a few weeks ago I ran him all motor from a 30 roll. I was in first and so wasnt he. I dead hooked, and he spun. I had a car on him until 140 where he slowly came by me and ended up with a nose on me by 150 where we shut down. I also ran him on a 100 shot, and it wasnt pretty.

this just shows how when your rolling and on the street's, traps dont mean SHIT

thanks, the car is also tuned on e85, went 118, the mph isn't there due to my short tire and im letting it eat 4th.. over the winter im getting a taller tire ( hoosier drags 245/45/17) that alone should net me a couple mph alone.. i'll also be doing a set of fp4r's and a shearer o2 dump. ultimatly on the ix 4th i want to go 122-124 on e85 at full tilt.

oh btw, im 4g63evoeight on evom, winner of the evo vs sti stock appearing class @ etown shootout
O and just for the record 2sick4v's, I have walked cars with me all motor that trap 118+...

ask TDI about it.

haha yessss it does, sometimes i feel like im responding to youtube comments on here lol

...from the previous 2 videos though...it looks like if you and the evo had gone on any longer, you would've pulled the evo back in, but you guys shut it down.

Nice Kill.. theres a local evo here thats a street killer from a dig. Its an 8 on the stock turbo with cams and E85..Makes 400/400 Watched it kill a F1R C5Z from a dig. It was great! There tough to beat with a good driver!
