question about decodeing VIN #

this might sound like a stupid question, but how do you determine what production number your car is from the vin # ? you always see people list their cars as cobra #___ and i was wondering how they get that number.

You have to call the 1-800 number. Sorry I don't know the number. You tell them your vin# and they tell you the number. You can also go to a SVT dealer and they should have the book.
