Question about Lowering?

Has anyone took a 3" spring and cut a coil off or even 1/2 of a coil. Just trying to see I how I can get the front as low as possible without spindles.

OK what diffrent options do I have to get the truck lowered 3.5 " in the front?

Search gen 2 for "Lowering". There's hours of reading on the subject. I know for a fact you'll find what you're looking for.

Mine is around 3.75" lower in front. I'm using a set of DJM lower control arms (2") and Ruslow 1000# coil springs (1.75")
