Question about paying ticket.

Well, several weeks ago I got caught speeding. 83 in a 70. I have been really low on money for a while and just recently got enough to pay the 12x dollar ticket.

The payment is due by the 14th. My question is if I mail it in tomorrow, how long should it take to process? I just don't want a warrant out if they don't get the payment processed in time.

Go pay it in person. If not, mail it certified mail return receipt. You can even call them and see if it can be paid online.

Agreed, pay it in person. Extra fees may be accessed if you are late. Some municipalities take payments over the phone or from the cities website.

If you send it certified mail with confirmation then you should be alright because you have proof of when you sent it in on time. I agree with paying in person or online though, safest bet.
