I don't know if I am smoking crack, but I am worried about an possible underhood fire. It started off today by me attempting to install a front end cover (bra). It was tight and as I was slipping it over the rubber stops on the underside of the hood. The stops are on both sides and I believe they contact the facia when closed. Well one of the stops came off and I can't find it. I looked on the floor and under the hood. I am worried it will stay on a head or exhaust part and start on fire. Can they start on fire or will it just melt when it contacts something hot?

Good question. I would think it would melt. Why not ask your dealer service manager. It might give you that peace of mind you're looking for. In the meantime I wouldn't be overly concerned.
