Question about Stock Springs???

My buddy has a 00GT and wants to put my Cobra springs on his car to lower it a bit. I have a full coil over kit installed on the car and my stock springs are sitting in a box in storage. My question is, can he use my old springs with his solid rear and how much of a drop can he expect from his stock springs??

I would say no as the springs in the Cobra are specifically for the IRS suspension. I would check with some one like Amazon Racing to 100% sure.
