this might be a dumb question but whats the advantage of a stroker motor. Like taking our stock motor out and putting in the 324 stroker or something like that.
Some argue that strokers are weaker, by nature. You can put a better/stronger rotating assembly into any motor. It's the bore/stroke ratio that causes the piston to be pulled below the deck, unless there is skirting to prevent it. How much this effects longevity/strength, I have no idea.
