I have done a search, but I can't find the exact information that I am looking for. I want to know if you have to have the tick to have your driver side head replaced under waranty.
The reason that I ask is because my motor was built before Nov 2002 (the so called faulty ones), and I have been told that some programmers will not work until you change the head, then the manufacture will give you a bypass code.
I would hate to buy a programmer and then not be able to use it. If the head can not be changed without the tick does anyone know of a programmer that will work with the pre-Nov heads and no bypass code? :shrug:
