How much lower is the front than the rear? Is the top of the tire an inch, or a half inch lower in the front than the rear?

I just put a straight edge on all four tires, and measured the distance between the tire and wheel well arch. The rear sits .53" higher than the rear.

The car appears perfectly level when looking at it, but there is obviously a difference according to the data collected.

...and the 17×8 tires, squared is driving me nuts. There is not enough meat on a 245/45/17 tire to look good in the rear wells of a New Edge.

My car is 1.5" lower in the front than the back.

245s are too small.

I mean, I do. But it's a Viper ACR. lol

Probably not exactly what you're looking for.

I forgot about your Viper. I've seen the pics. I may, or may not have drooled a bit. I'm a Mopar nut, and could have an addiction to the Viper. I've have the privilege of piloting a couple for a track day, and that only made me want one more. Amazing machines.

...and you could place my 245 tire inside of the tires on the Viper.

I am just finishing this one up, and it sits about an inch lower in the front than the rear, but in the pictures it looks level. 2.75 front and 3.15 rear.

This is my sons Mach I, also lowered with the same tire size I am running. You can kinda see the rake here. Mine is starting to settle a little lower, now that I have driven it around the block a few times.

my mustang front end done 008.JPG

My son used a few different brand parts to lower his, but I used Eibach springs all around.

Here's mine Revvv on Eibach Pro Kit with factory iso's. Eibach says this kit will give you a 1.5" drop all around. I think I got a little less than that. Pretty much retained the factory rake but with a lower more aggressive stance. Where I screwed up is going with a 35 sidewall in the back instead of a 40 to take up some more of the gap. I was going to take the rear iso's out but haven't gotten around to it.
