Quick ? Does the 08 gt500 have an ambient temperature sensor

Just curious .Since my torque app shows 37.4 f all the time.
I assume if there is a sensor it does not effect the afr and that would be done by the maf and O2's. ?

I always thought it had one since my aeroforce gauge shows roughly the correct ambient temps

AIT1 is read at the MAF sensor, so it's the air temperature inside in the air intake. It would be a mixture of ambient and underhood air. If you gauge is displaying the same temperature, I'm not sure what it's mapping to, but it doesn't sound active.

My 08 shows iat1 and iat2 properly. When I try to read ambient outside air temp it just shows 37.4 Fahrenheit thought that was odd

No, I do have IAT1 & 2 and they're not the same as ambient.
From what I've seen the numbers are correct for each and what you expect under certain driving conditions (in town, highway, WOT)

Anyone use the torque app which shows you all kinds of info like the n gauge .if so just curious what yours shows if you try to access ambient temp
