I'm cleaning the MAF sensor in my 2011 GT500 right now. I am using the CRC MAF cleaner spray. I already sprayed the top and bottom of the sensor 10-20 times per the can instructions. Do I also spray inside the hole where the air goes into the sensor that would face the air filter, also?

Thanks Snoopy. I sprayed everything except the wire connections. I'll do that next. Should I put some di-electric grease on the connection when I reassemble it?

In a word, unless you think for certain that the maf is dirty from overoiling the filter, you shouldn't clean it. When you do, use an indirect spray. These are far more delicate than spraying out the inside of your laptop.
