Quick question about my 03

I have a question about the excessive heat that comes from the floor board of the car. I used to own a 95cobra and there was a little bit of heat that would come off the engine and onto the floor board, but damn, the 03 cobra has a lot of heat coming off the motor. I was told it's because of the s/c. Is this true and what have or is there anything you can do to help alleviate the heat from pouring onto your legs? Thanks

you could take out the seats and pull up the carpet and put some more isulation down
