Quick Question about Trans'

Will a T-45 from a 98 Cobra work in a 99? As I recall isn't there something different with how the speedo hooks up or reads?

yes
the 99 cobra came with T45's

but you are right, the 98's had a mechanical speedo and the 99's have electric.
i believe you can get it converted . not sure how much though.

all you do is swap tailsections. there have been a few writeups on here about how to do it.
