quick truck question

does all the f-150 models come with a V8 or just some of the trims, or like regular cab, extended cab ect.. thanks

no not all come with the V8. the entry level trucks have the 4.2 12v V6. thoes are most likley to be the standard cabs

I beleive the XL is a V6 where as the XLT is a V8 and the Sport is a V6. So as far as I know the XLT is the only one with the V8 (except the Lariet, HD, Lightning etc.) The sport comes in regular cab and extended cab, the XL I don't know, and the XLT comes in regular cab, extended cab, and four door. (I am talking about the older models though not the new ones cause I own a 98 and I am not to familiar about the new ones)

yea, im wanting to find a newer ish one with a v8 with a regular cab, so that sounds like its harder to find then?

You won't have a problem, they are the worlds best selling pick up, so you should be fine, I have one (XLT, crewcab) and freaking love it.

Some of the STX which is also a XL model have 6s in them.
