I know this is pretty random but i thought i would ask. Well im a writing a paper, and im trying to quote something but im not sure if im doing it right.
Well im trying to quote something out of a passage and the passage im quoting is quoted itself. So would i use a single quote. Like this
Heres the quote in the passage
He was an army doctor, with a grey toothbrush mustaache and a gruff voice. "For God's sake, hurry up, Francis".
Is this the correct why i would do it in my paper
"He was an army doctor, with a grey toothbrush mustache and a gruff voice. 'For God's sake, hurry up, Francis'" (pg #).
