Why are things deteriorating? If a parent thinks their kids is mature enough to see R-Rated movies, so be it. If you wanna piss and moan, go bitch to the parents.

I agree with sinister angel. I mean, who cars if parents let their kids go see R-rated movies??? Ok seriously, what can a kid see in an R-rated movie that they wont see or hear about on the news? You guys act like its a huge traumatizing ordeal that will scar them for life. I used to go to see R-rated movies when I was a kid and I didnt flip out and kill/rape/go on a shooting rampage (no, that was when my tranny grenaded for a 2nd time!) I mean jeez everyones gotta lighten up.

Well shit, I suppose you think the FCC should go on a censorship spree, right?

Great, and where does the 'lightening up' end? One thing leads to another. Always has, always will. And I'm not even bringing extremes up like you mentioned (i.e. "kill/rape/...") Why subject a youth, when they are most impressionable, to violence and other controversial matter in excess? Why? For entertainment? Good to see that's what people need to have a good time...

Dude, how about you go f*ck yourself up the ass with a poker and mind your own business. If parents want to let their kids watch R-Rated movies, so what. It sure as hell isn't your job to say no. Now go move to China you socialist fuÇk.

Haha, I was right on both counts. You're young and uneducated. You resort to cursing because your vocabulary is severely limited.

This is probably in part to having parents who cared for you. I'm sure they parented you well, similar to the type of parenting I got.
Today's problem wouldn't be a problem if parents would level with their kids and play an important role in their lives. We all know about kids who sit at home all day in front of the tv with little, to no supervision. This leads to an im-balanced child who sees no difference or has no concept of right and wrong.
My parents let me see R-rated stuff when I hit the age of 14. I remember when Silence of the Lambs first came out and I wanted to see it so bad, but my parents said no. They stepped in and took some action, which today is a less occuring thing.
This R-card isn't a big deal as long as these parents who sign up for it still take the time to talk to their child about the movie and discuss with them the fallacy of said movie.

I only do it because I need to stoop to lower intelligence levels, such as your own.
Uneducated? I think not, seeing as I was writing letters to the editor when I was a sophomore in highschool and they got printed, have you done that?
Girls are distracted by presence of boys
Yes, boys and girls do much better in school if they are deprived of each other's company during study time ("School to test all-boy classes," May 24).
I couldn't have done half as well academically as I did if I had been distracted by the presence of boys.
