Everytime i go to the track i always end up with some shitty ass air. Always having a da of 2500+. Well today with the combo of a 1500 +/- 100 or so feet, and a water tank and a dual pass h/e i ran my best of 11.38@121.

my first pass off the trailer was 11.45 @ 125! I was really estatic about my trap speed so a half hour later i went back and ran a 11.5x @118... ok not bad. Half hour later than that i ran a 11.68@116. WTF. i pop off my ice tank cap and my tank is warm to the touch. So i drain out my tank and put a helluva lot of ice in it and circulate the i/c pump for a few minutes and get back up to the lanes. I then ran my best of 11.38 @ 121
here's the breakdown of the slip

60':1.66
1/8 mph: 98.25
1/8 et: 7.37
1/4 mph: 121.5
1/4 et:11.38

Very happy considering my last visit to the track i ran consistan 11.8 @ 116...

BTW setup is a steggy stage 3, e85, 2.76 upper only, 28" hoosier qtp's

nice run bro

Get close to the tens is so exciting, I can't wait till I get a chance after deployment in November to try for 10s. 03 cobra notorious for blower heat soak my buddy before he went turbo end of going with a blower chiller that ran the ac lines through the heat exchanger worked like a charm. Keep at it by the way is your car still irs or solid axle. Once again good run.

Very nice! Congrats on the new personal best. Is kind of perplexing with the wide variance in 1/4 mile MPH. Your setup should be good for well into 500+ at the wheels which should give you consistent 122-125+ MPH's. I would imagine you have no weight reduction in the car? And with a heavy convertible, along with still a pretty high DA of 1,500+, and maybe some heat soak added in, that could be the reason for the MPH.

No weight reduction besides the "race wheels" (28x10.5 hoosiers with summit stars out back, and 17x4 race stars up front) annnnd everything in the trunk out. Still weighs in at 3820... but as far as heat soak goes, i usually go to the track when its around the 90 degree area with 50% or more humidity. My final run, the air temp was 48 degrees with 77% humidity and 30.01 bar pressure. But im pretty happy that my mph is starting to match up to others, i was getting worried i actually had a hurt motor or something odd like that
