For those who have these...did you use the light cap?

No. Mine is in the a/c vent. If I want it dim, I just move the vent.

Sometimes I use the cap. Right now it's not working right though? Sometimes it works sometimes not.

Mine was on the steering column, the red was bright enough so I left the cap on.
I guess if I would have raced it, especially during the day, I would have taken it off.
