Rattling under near trans?

So ive gotten a weird rattle type noise lately, its not overly loud but you can definitely hear it if you put your ear near the front fender. At first i thought it was a pulley bearing on the front of the car but now i know it is definitely near the transmission area.

Any ideas? it makes noise all the time (clutch in, out, at idle, while driving)

Could it be a throw out bearing?

I thought at first but it makes the noise when church goes in or out, no change in pitch or anything

Can you get under it to make sure you don't have something touching anything? Your exhaust is clear from everything? Just trying to rule some things out....

Wife's car had a similar problem. Although it's not a Mustang, it turned out to be the catalytic converter. Kinda sounded like nuts and bolts vibrating around in a coffee can. Check your heat Shields on the cats too of you still have them.
