Really Hot Wheels ?!?! (03 Cobra)

So I am wandering through Wal-Mart last night and come across the Hot Wheels display. I notice some '50 Years' themed packages that turn out to be all special edition Mustangs. So digging through these I come across the 2003 Cobra. I was excited until I got a closer look at it. It looks like an old Mustang Trans-Am car, which is not necessarily a bad thing, its just that it looks nothing like an 03/04 Cobra. After a little research on Hot Wheels website I found that this will be the only color / design that will be offered. Sad to say I was so disappointed in this I didn't even spend the .84 cents to bring it home. The real salt in the wound is the other offerings (Fox body, original Mustang concept, 70s Mach) all look pretty decent. Seriously Hot Wheels, what the hell? :nonono:

That's weird that the picture looked good but the car doesn't. I am guessing someone messed up on the mold and they didn't want to pay to fix it.

Yeah that sucks because that is the old 1995 trans am mustang. They just changed the name. Hotwheels...so lazy.

There is indeed. But I have never been able to find a good quality Redfire coupe, only the convertible. Oh well...

Yup, I've seen pictures of that car before. It looks like a nascar, and NOTHING like a 03-04 cobra.
