Rear Brake pad ..????

Ok, I going to need some rear pads soon, are the Performance Friction Carbon Metallic the ones I want..????just need a replacement, not for real hard driving.
What kind of price are we talking, for front and rear..???
Also I picked up a Lisle #25080 Disk brake caliper tool today,(says for 1 1/2" pistons), is it the one I need for the rear.....??....thanks for any info:beer:

If that tool you bought, is the square block, good luck! You will never turn the piston with that. It didnt work for me.
I went with the oem pads.

The tool i got is disk looking with 2 sets of pins (one on each side) and takes a 3/8" drive in the middle.
As for the brand of pads, I was wondering was everyone was using......

It's not a good idea to just change the front or back by themselves. I recommend changing all of them if you are going to change any brake pads.

I liked the Hawk high performance pads on my '98.

I had EBC greenstuff pads and changed them with Hawk HPS pads. Though the EBC's were better than stock, the Hawk's were like I threw an anchor out the trunk when I came to a stop. Unfortunately they are very, very dusty.
