I was just wondering if anyone has had problems with their stock rear end. I read in a magazine that if you plan to drive the car hard or race it, you need a cooler for the fluid. I crawled under the car about an hour after it had been driven and the housing was still hot as hell.

No problem

I'm doing mine right now. I went with the 2000 Cobra R oil cooler and the Tilton pump. I also put multiple pipe threads in the differential for Suction, Return, oil temp sender and thermostatic switch.

were do you get the 2000R rear cooler kits(PART#----).thank for avy info

Actually I am not sure if it the 2000R or the 1995R. I got it from Terry. Part # M-6642-R58...

Actually, upon further review (web search), it is 95 Cobra R... You might like Earls or some other brand better... This cooler is long and has only two large tubes. Other coolers have 13 ~ 39 rows and are more compact and efficent. I got this cause Terry reccomended it, it is what he sells. It might be easier on the pump since the 2 tubes are large diameter. I do not know for sure, I am not an engineer.
