rear end problems?

i have a ranger and there is an odd noise coming from it i cant figure it out it sounds like a truck with nobby tires and when i turn the tone of the noise changes any ideas?

i bent the axel 4 months ago and had it replaced so thats about when it started happening im going to take it back soon i guess and see what it is.
